This industrial building disappeared in 2017 with hammers and bulldozers. Magnificent enclosure located in the heart of the Mar Mikhaël district, the factory and its exceptional volume could have housed a cultural center or an artistic space. The appetites of the promoters of Beirut decided otherwise. I had the chance to launch my second book, Beirut on Listening (Amers Editions) during a magnificent event on October 6, 2011 .
